A note from the founder

I wanted a room where ambitious people feed off each other's energy.

I'm starting Better Company because I've met so many people building something alone — some running businesses alone, some thinking through their first idea alone — without realizing they could meet others in the same season and push each other forward.

I've spent the past decade in Canada building businesses of my own, from a painting business to selling on Amazon. Through all of those ventures, the thing I craved most was knowing people dealing with the same problems, going through the same things, helping each other through the journey.

This will feel different from a typical networking event. It's not transactional — it's more useful, more human. I read every application myself, and the first 50 founding members will shape what this becomes.
